"Even at night, in moonlight, I have no rest... Why did they trouble me? Oh, gods, gods..."
MIKHAIL BULGAKOV, The Master and Margarita
Tired of Dying
Another
Day here
Another death
Another
Night here
Another death
The quern-stones have just stopped
A time to take a breath
And then without a warning
The grinding starts again
Reborn to suffer
To watch them die
To dream of hope
To push the knife in
And to twist it with a smile
My eyes are open wide
But I can hardly move
Another
Day here
Another death
Another
Night here
Another death
Scorched earth under my feet
And darkened skies above my head
A new life is born
The lie I always fall for
Reborn to suffer
To watch them die
To dream of hope
To push the knife in
And to twist it with a smile
The promises to end it all
They're never fulfilled
I know the glowing eyes
And here we go again
The perfect mix of (old school) death thrash and (modern) slam death. With a great sense for groove and impressive amount of variation. I'll keep an eye on these guys - especially on their other profile where this is a little cheaper and new stuff is available. mourner
After hearing the Luciferian Age EP this album instantly became one of my most anticipated albums for 2022. And it did not disappoint. It was in my top 3 albums for 2022.
I love the atmosphere throughout the album. It's not a relentless beating all the way and 'This Night Seems Endless' with its slower tempo quickly became another favorite of mine. But what I love most from all of the songs has to be 'Draugr'. From the guitar solo in the middle all the way to the end is so beautiful! ❤️ killamot
Different in style but just as furious as their more recent releases, this wonderfully hammering journey through Laceration's earlier releases is just under an hour or so's worth of the highest quality underground death and thrash metal, to the point any track could have been my favourite. poisonremedy
Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024
